Hello lovelies! So we are back with another Lunar Chronicles post today. This time it's a post on books that have royalty in them. Is it just us or do you like books that have "royal" characters in them as well? Do let us know if you know of any such books, but first of all, check out our list!

Liz Braswell - A Whole New World (Twisted Tales #1)

Welcome to a new YA series that reimagines classic Disney stories in surprising new ways. Each book asks the question: What if one key moment from a familiar Disney film was changed? This dark and daring version ofAladdin twists the original story with the question: What if Jafar was the first one to summon the Genie?

When Jafar steals the Genie’s lamp, he uses his first two wishes to become sultan and the most powerful sorcerer in the world. Agrabah lives in fear, waiting for his third and final wish.To stop the power-mad ruler, Aladdin and the deposed Princess Jasmine must unite the people of Agrabah in rebellion. But soon their fight for freedom threatens to tear the kingdom apart in a costly civil war.

What happens next? A Street Rat becomes a leader. A princess becomes a revolutionary. And readers will never look at the story of Aladdin in the same way again.

Meg Haston - Paperweight

"We are not meant to walk alone in this life. We're meant to be part of a we. Something bigger, something outside of ourselves."

Seventeen-year-old Stevie is trapped. In her life. In her body. And now in an eating-disorder treatment center on the dusty outskirts of the New Mexico desert.

Life in the center is regimented and intrusive, a nightmare come true. Nurses and therapists watch Stevie at mealtime, accompany her to the bathroom, and challenge her to eat the foods she’s worked so hard to avoid.

Her dad has signed her up for sixty days of treatment. But what no one knows is that Stevie doesn't plan to stay that long. There are only twenty-seven days until the anniversary of her brother Josh’s death—the death she caused. And if Stevie gets her way, there are only twenty-seven days until she too will end her life.

In this emotionally haunting and beautifully written young adult debut, Meg Haston delves into the devastating impact of trauma and loss, while posing the question: Why are some consumed by their illness while others embark on a path toward recovery?

{Guest Post by Little Book Heaven} M&M Peanut Butter Cookies

Hello lovelies. It's the eighth week of the 2015 Summer Blogger Promo Tour and today Ruzaika and I are very excited to share with you a kind of post that has never before appeared on The Regal Critiques, a recipe. Specifically one of Jess's favorite cookie recipes. (It looks and sounds soo delicious!) But enough of me, let me introduce you to Jess!

Hi everyone, I am Jess from Little Book Heaven and I am so excited to be teaming up with Veronika and Ruzaika from The Regal Critiques for Summer Blogger Promo Tour. Aside from reading, I also enjoy baking. It is something that I enjoy doing with my mom. I have been asked by both Veronika and Ruzaika to share one of my favorite recipes. These cookies I absolutely love.

Nicola Yoon - Everything, Everything

“I was trying so hard to find the single pivotal moment that set my life on its path. The moment that answered the question, 'How did I get here?'
But it's never just one moment. It's a series of them. And your life can branch out from each one in a thousand different ways. Maybe there's a version of your life for all the choices you make and all the choices you don't.”

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

The Lunar Chronicles Read Along: Crushing on Kai

Hi guys. As excited as I've been for The Lunar Chronicles Real Along ever since I've heard about it, before now I didn't have time and patience to write any of the bonus posts. However, today finally Ruzi and I have something special coming your way: our top ten celebrity crushes! While we did our best to limit our choices to ten, we sadly had to go a teensy bit overboard and chose 6 male celebrities each, who we find incredibly good looking and who are all, of course, talented in what they do. Hope you'll enjoy our post!

Top Ten Authors I've Read The Most Books From

Hi lovies! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and today's topic is Top Ten Authors I've Read The Most Books From. I wasn't so excited about doing this list because it's nearly the same as the one I made about the top ten authors I own the most books from. What I'm excited to see, however, is YOUR lists because I'd love to find some authors who keep amusing their readers with better and better books. Don't forget to share your links in the comments! :)

Anne Heltzel - Charlie, Presumed Dead

"I’m into people believing and doing whatever the hell they want as long as it doesn’t hurt other people."

In Paris, family and friends gather to mourn the tragic passing of Charlie Price—young, handsome, charming, a world-traveler—who is presumed dead after an explosion. Authorities find only a bloodied jacket, ID’d as Charlie’s. At the funeral, two teens who are perfect strangers, Lena Whitney and Aubrey Boroughs, make another shocking discovery: they have both been dating Charlie, both think Charlie loved them and them alone, and there is a lot they didn’t know about their boyfriend. Over the next week, a mind-bending trip unfolds: first in London—then in Mumbai, Kerala, and Bangkok, the girls go in search of Charlie. Is he still alive? What did their love for him even mean? The truth is out there, but soon it becomes clear that the girls are harboring secrets of their own.

No one knows whom to trust in this thrilling tale of suspense and deception.

Ann Aguirre - Public Enemies (Immortal Game #2)

"My mom would be horrified that I'd gotten myself into such a mess. There's no excuse for violence, Edie. It's always better to talk things out logically. Somehow I didn't think this monster would be interested in chatting."

Through a Faustian bargain, Edie Kramer has been pulled into the dangerous world of the Immortal Game, where belief makes your nightmares real. Hungry for sport, fears-made-flesh are always raising the stakes. To them, human lives are less than nothing, just pieces on a board.

Because of her boyfriend Kian's sacrifice, she's operating under the mysterious Harbinger's aegis, but his patronage could prove as fatal as the opposition. Raw from deepest loss, she's terrified over the deal Kian made for her. Though her very public enemies keep sending foot soldiers--mercenary monsters committed to her destruction--she's not the one playing under a doom clock. Kian has six months...unless Edie can save him. And this is a game she can't bear to lose.
